Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) — India’s passenger car sales gained in January to a record as economic growth and cheaper loan rates helped boost demand. Local sales rose 32 percent from a year earlier to 145,905 units, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers said in a statement in New Delhi today.
